Decided to keep my 1968 Firebird convertible
Modified By snakepitt1 on 1/3/2010 4:45:24 PM)

So, after much soul searching... I have decided that although it will take another year or 2 to finish my car, I am keeping it.

I have decided that I may never finish this car. So I am selling my 1968 Pontiac Firebird convertible. I have rebuilt the 400 motor adding RamAir 3 heads, H-beam rods W/ forged pistons, performance rebuilt TH350, 2400 stall speed converter, new flex plate, ARP bolts used through out engine and transmission,  stainless steel Flowmaster exhaust, trunk lid is new, front fenders are new, ram air hood is new, hood mounted tach, new door panels, new carpet, double dynamat  through out, new convertible lift cylinders and pump, new space saver spare, new chrome bumpers, Edelbrock performer intake, cam and 750 carb. Entire fuel system replaced from the gas tank to the carb. Hooker competition ceramic coated headers,  Added front power discs, new convertible top, power top works perfectly, interior completely replaced or rebuilt, new Cragar S/S wheels all around with new BF Goodrich tires with zero miles on them. Seats were rebuilt , all springs were coated with a rubber spray to eliminate spring squeak, new foam insalled and Mercedes comfort foam added to make them even more comfortable, then recovered with new material from Year One, and finally seat extenders added. New KYB gas adjust shocks, new leaf springs, Global West 1" lowering springs, frame powdercoated, Wheel wells powdercoated, front bumper support powdercoated, transmission crossmember powdercoated, Hotchkis subframe connectors and X brace, too much to list here.  Check out this site, it has my car  https://www.americantorque.com/page/0/176/             I have original build sheet and PHS documentation.

I have all receipts for everything, the book is 3" thick. Contact Scott at 205-535-0162 or by e-mail at snakepitt1@aol.com

I am asking $28k for the car, but will entertain offers. E-mail me for more specifics or pictures.

Every step of this restoration / rebuild has been documented with pictures.
