There will be a Toys for Tots show & shine car show on Dec. 19th from 11am to 4pm at the Birmingham Tilted Kilt Pub & eatery.  This is an open invitation to all brands. Our goal is to collect as many toys as possible to put smiles on the faces of needy kids on Christmas morning.

We will have a small contingent of US Marines manning the collection boxes and the Tilted Kilt ladies will be there for pictures. Presently being promoted on JOX 94.5 and we will be interviewed Friday morning on Wake Up Alabama CBS 42.  So far the Birmingham Mopar Owners Club, the Mustang club, Ferrari club, Porsche club and Corvette club have been contacted and will be there. So far I have confirmation from the Birmingham Mustang club and Mid Alabama Corvette club and Birmingham Mopar Owners Club (of course) for attendance.  This event is all about collecting toys for children. The fact that we will all have a great time, well, that is a bonus.

All toys must be UNWRAPPED. I have not been able to figure how to attach anything to these threads. But the show is growing. I received a call from a fellow car nut in TN. He is driving in for this show. I got word today that there may be a Lotus as well. Posibly both CBS 42 and ABC 33/40 will cover the show. 106.9 will be there playing music and we will be giving away door prizes nearly every 8 minutes.
